Envision Victor

Over the course of the two year Envision Victor project, the community of Victor will explore and articulate what defines the “heart and soul” of their community. A focus of the project is going beyond land use planning to the very social fabric of the community, its core values and unique “sense of place”.

According to the Envision Victor website:
We envision a community we can all call home, a community in which all residents can live and work in harmony and respect for each other. This community will offer healthy economies, strong businesses, vital and cohesive neighborhoods, and extensive recreational and cultural opportunities. It will preserve our City’s friendly, hometown atmosphere, and its powerful history.

Envision Victor is led by an Advisory Committee of Teton Valley organizations and citizens. The first phase of this program is being supported through a grant from the Orton Family Foundation. This competitive grant was awarded to only 4 communities in the country.  VARD was instrumental in writing the grant and organizing the site visit from the Orton Foundation, which was part of the competitive application process.
